• Afternoon check-in

  • Arrive and pick up your goody bag and registration materials at the host hotel​

• Evening cocktails and socializing

  • Join us at a local bar (TBD) for informal social time with old and new friends​
     

Thursday, September 10

• Morning workshops

  • We plan to offer at least two educational workshops (topics TBD but past workshops have focused on genealogy, heraldry, folklore, etc.)​

• Moonshine tasting

  • We'll take a field trip (within walking distance of the host hotel) to enjoy some moonshine at a local Nashville bar​

• Free afternoon 

  • No formal programming is planned so feel free to rest and relax or get up and explore Nashville​

 

Friday, September 11

• Morning golf scramble

  • Indicate your interest in participating in Chairman Steve Mills' fun golf scramble on the registration form itself​; he will connect with you directly to plan

• Free afternoon

  • Rest up after a morning of golf and/or sightseeing because tonight is banquet night​

• Banquet night 

  • Don your kilts and other fancy attire for a semi-formal banquet; enjoy good food and drink and stay for the cèilidh with live music to follow​

 

Saturday, September 12

• Middle Tennessee Highland Games & Celtic Festival

  • Melinda Wiens and J.W. McKinney will host the Clan MacKinnon tent at these games held all day in nearby Hendersonville, TN ​

  • Tickets for the games can be purchased at the gate or ahead of time through the Middle TN Games website: https://www.midtenngames.com/

  • REMINDER: NO transportation is provided by the Society between the host hotel and the TN Games. Please plan to drive your own vehicle, carpool, or rent a vehicle.

 

Sunday, September 13

• Farewells and departure

  • All good things must come to an end but you can always look forward to the next Gathering in 2028 (location TBD)​
